what's free, what's paid?

Free: 24 foundational cocktails (the Cocktail Codex framework), all input modalities (camera, photo, voice, typed), 5 picks per day, session-only inventory.

Paid (annual $9.99 or lifetime $19.99): the full library, persistent inventory across launches, and unlimited picks per day. One purchase covers all your Apple devices on the same Apple ID.

how do i cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by drinks by peckish. Open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → drinks by peckish → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the current period ends. No fees, no friction.

why does the app need camera access?

We use your camera (only when you choose to) to recognize the bottles on your shelf. The photo goes to Anthropic's vision model for identification — not stored, not linked to you. You can also add bottles by voice or by typing — camera access is optional.

what data do you collect?

Very little. Bottle photos go through Anthropic transiently for recognition. Nothing is stored on our servers — we don't run servers for the app, everything lives on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Full details in the privacy policy.

how do i report a mis-identified bottle?

In the bottle confirmation screen, tap the ••• menu next to a bottle → "Report this." Sends Harper a copy of the photo and what was identified, so we can improve recognition over time. No personal info goes with it.

how do i restore a previous purchase?

If you bought lifetime or subscribed before and don't see the paid features after reinstalling: open the app → tap any paywall trigger (e.g., "the full bar →" at the bottom of inventory) → "Restore a previous purchase" at the bottom of the paywall. Apple verifies your Apple ID and returns your access.
